New Delhi: Significant progress has been made regarding the crash of Indian General Bipin Rawat's helicopter, the flight data record of the helicopter and the cockpit voice recorder have been found.
According to Indian media, the investigation teams have recovered the flight data recorder and cockpit voice recorder which will help in finding out the cause of the accident.
On the other hand, Indian Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said that the three services have been ordered to investigate the helicopter crash. The inquiry team reached Wellington itself yesterday and started the investigation.
A tripartite inquiry has been ordered into the helicopter crash. According to Rajnath Singh, all the bodies including General Bipin Rawat will be brought to New Delhi while the last rites of General Bipin Rawat will be performed tomorrow.
