A meeting of the Federal Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan

ISLAMABAD: A meeting of the Federal Cabinet was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Briefing in the meeting regarding introduction of electronic voting machine and empowerment of Pakistanis abroad to vote.The Cabinet welcomed the ECP's decision to use electronic voting machine in the local body elections in Islamabad.

The Cabinet was given a detailed briefing on the schedule regarding delivery and use of electronic voting machines to all polling stations in the country and training of staff.

The Cabinet vowed to hold the next elections with electronic voting machines after the enactment of the Electronic Voting Machine and the law giving Pakistanis abroad the right to vote.
