IHC moved for placing name of Rana Shamim, former chief judge Gilgit-Baltistan in ECL

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC) has been approached for placing the name of Rana Shamim, former chief judge Gilgit-Baltistan in Exit Control List (ECL). 

The petition has been filed by a citizen Roy Muahmmad Kharal taking the plea Rana Shamim remained office bearer of PML-N Sindh. PML-N appointed him as chief judge Gilgit- Baltistan on coming to power. It is feared Rana Shamim  can flee abroad  again. 

He requested that the court should order the respondents to place Rana Shamim name in ECL.
