In Mexico, a track carrying refugees collided with a bridge

At least 54 people have been killed in a road accident in Mexico.

According to foreign media reports, the accident took place in the south of Mexico, where a track carrying refugees collided with a bridge in the state of Chiapas, killing 54 people and injuring several others.

State officials say it is the worst accident of its kind in Mexico, with more than 50 people injured and most in critical condition.

 The dead included women and children, whose nationalities have not yet been determined, but officials said most of those killed were refugees.
