| Talha Talib made history |
TASHKENT: Pakistani weightlifter Talha Talib has made history by winning a bronze medal at the World Weightlifting Championships.
At the Weightlifting World Championships, Pakistani weightlifter Talha Talib won a bronze medal in the 67kg snatch category by lifting 143kg.
He managed to win the first medal for Pakistan in the event but could not complete the competition in Pakistani weightlifter clean and jerk.
This is Pakistan's first medal in the history of World Weightlifting Championship.
