WASHINGTON: A company owner in the United States has fired 900 employees over a zoom call, prompting criticism.
According to a foreign news agency, users on social media have called it a harsh act and a terrible move, even on the eve of Christmas when all citizens are celebrating with their families.
"If you are on this call, you are part of the unfortunate group that is being evicted," said Vishal Garg, the firm's chief executive.
