Karachi: The US dollar has reached the highest level of Rs 178. In 7 months, the dollar has become Rs 25 72 paise more expensive.

According to the details, the high flight of the dollar in the interbank market continues today and the dollar against the rupee is maintained at the new highest level in the history of the country.

During trading, the dollar rose by 39 paise to 178 dollars, while forex dealers said that the dollar was selling at 179 rupees and 20 paise in the open market.

According to experts, the IMF's tight conditions, rising current account and trade deficit are the main reasons for the rise in the value of the dollar, the dollar has become 25 rupees 72 paise more expensive in 7 months.

Yesterday, in the open market, the dollar crossed Rs 180 for the first time in history. Exchange companies said that the dollar in the open market became Rs 180.30.
