After Saudi Arabia, Asian Development Bank ready to help Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has announced to provide 60 600 million to Pakistan, saying that the money would be spent on effective social security programs.

According to the details, the Asian Development Bank has approved a loan of کروڑ 600 million for Pakistan. A statement issued by the ADB said that a grant of 30 3 million would also be provided to Pakistan.

ADB says the loan and grant money will be spent on an effective social security program, while a 24 24 million grant from the Education for All Foundation will be spent through ADB.

It may be recalled that in August this year, the Asian Development Bank had approved a loan of 500 500 million for Pakistan to make the corona vaccine available.

It may be recalled that the Asian Development Bank (ADB) has agreed to shift coal plants to alternative energy in Pakistan and has allocated 6 6 million for the pre-feasibility of the energy project.

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has said that a pre-feasibility study will be carried out on carbon-intensive diesel, furnace oil and coal plants. A pre-feasibility study on alternative energy projects will be conducted in January 2022.
