Karachi: The US dollar once again reached the highest level in the history of the country, the dollar rose by 39 paise to 177 rupees 30 paise in the interbank market.

According to the details, the high flight of US dollar could not be stopped. Even on the second day of the business week, the value of dollar against the rupee remained at record level in the interbank and open market.

Demand for the dollar has risen sharply in the interbank market since this morning, with the dollar rising by 39 paise to 177 rupees to 30 paise against the rupee.

Forex dealers say that the dollar is being sold above Rs 178.50 in the open market.

Experts say the government borrowed تین 3 billion from Saudi Arabia and deposited it in the SBP to stabilize the dollar, but this had no effect on the interbank market.

It may be recalled that during the last week, the dollar had gone up by Rs 1.31 paise.

The value of the dollar reached a new high in the country's history.
