Big announcement of European countries about 40,000 Afghans

Brussels: An important announcement has been made by European countries regarding 40,000 Afghans working against the Taliban.

A group of 15 EU countries has decided to grant asylum to 40,000 Afghans.

The decision was made for Afghans who were working against the Taliban, and are now facing difficulties or their lives are in danger.

Germany is the country with the highest number of asylum seekers at 25,000 Afghans, the Netherlands at more than 3,000, Spain and France at 25,000.

Eighty-five thousand Afghans have fled Afghanistan to countries close to the European Union, while the Taliban's control of Kabul and the severe drought have led to a further increase in the number of refugees.

In August, 24 EU countries already sheltered 28,000 displaced Afghans.
