Islamabad: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Sunday announced the Tamgha I Shujaat for Malik Adnan in acknowledgement of his effort to save the life of Sialkot incident victim’s life.
Malik Adnan was the colleague of the Sri Lankan man, who tried his utmost to save the victim. In CCTV footage, he is seen confronting a group of angry men all by himself and making desperate attempts to avert the flare-up.
Prime Minister Imran Khan tweeted that “On behalf of the nation I want to salute moral courage & bravery of Malik Adnan who tried his utmost to shelter & save Priyantha Diyawadana from the vigilante mob in Sialkot incl endangering his own life by physically trying to shield victim.
