KARACHI: Prime Minister Imran Khan has inaugurated the Green Line project.

Prime Minister Imran Khan inaugurated the Green Line project in Karachi. On this occasion, Sindh Governor Imran Ismail and Federal Ministers Asad Umar also accompanied the Prime Minister.

The Green Line bus service will be officially launched from December 25, which will be able to carry 300,000 passengers daily.

The minimum fare of Green Line has been fixed at Rs. 15 while it will be possible to buy a card of Rs. 100 for full day. Separate seats have been reserved for women and persons with disabilities in Green Line.

The Green Line corridor is 22 km long and each bus can carry 200 to 250 passengers.

 The Sindh governor had claimed the inauguration of the Green Line project in October. The Green Line project started in 2016 and was to be completed in one year.
