ISLAMABAD: Governor Raza Baqir has said that every effort will be made to make people aware of Easy Mobile Account Scheme.
State Bank of Pakistan held a soft launch ceremony of Easy Mobile Account Scheme.
Under this scheme, customers will be able to open a bank account from their mobile at home. The scheme includes PTA, SBP, NADRA, 13 banks and cell phone companies.
Chairman NADRA said that NADRA will continue its full support for the success of Easy Mobile Account.
Even before the launch, transactions of Rs. 6 billion 21 crore have been made in one million branchless banking accounts.
