PDM announces inflation march in Islamabad on March 23


 ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) on March 23 announced an inflation march in Islamabad while the decision to resign from the assemblies would be taken in due course.

These views were expressed by PDM chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman while talking to media after the PDM summit yesterday. He said that all the party leaders and their representatives participated in the meeting of PDM and the situation of the country was discussed in detail in the meeting.

Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that there is no doubt that as a result of the election in 2018, the government came into existence on the basis of fake votes deprived of public mandate, which was the reason why it was incompetent and deprived of public support. It is facing failure but its punishment is being meted out to the whole nation in the form of inflation, unemployment, unrest and poverty.

He said that in all these circumstances, the Pakistan Democratic Movement has decided that there will be an inflation march in Islamabad on March 23, the nation will come to Islamabad from all corners of the country and There will be a huge demonstration in which the whole nation will participate.

The PDM chief said that in connection with the preparations for this March, PDM meetings would be convened at the provincial level in which strategy would be worked out. Shahbaz Sharif in Punjab, Fazlur Rehman in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Mahmood in Balochistan. Khan Achakzai and Owais Noorani in Sindh will convene a meeting to make preparations in this regard.

He also announced to hold a big seminar in consultation with the legal community, civil society and business circles to take the PDM's strategy into confidence. However, he did not give a clear answer to the question that on March 23 in Islamabad There will be a sit-in or a long march.
