Sarwar foundation providing free medical aid to poor: Parveen Sarwar


Lahore: Punjab Governor Chaudhry Sarwar’s wife Parveen Sarwar on Saturday said the ‘Sarwar foundation’ was providing health facilities to the poor people without any discrimination.

According to details, Parveen Sarwar on Saturday spearhead the campaign of organising free Medical Camps across Punjab. More than 35,000 men, women and children suffering from various ailments were given free medicines after check-up and eye operations were also performed on more than 200 men and women. 

Talking to media later, Perveen Sarwar announced to continue setting up more free medical camps. She said with the collaboration of NGOs,  the foundation was setting up more and more free camps in the under-served areas to help those who cannot afford a simple check-up.

Perveen Sarwar said that lady doctors provide counseling to women regarding Breast cancer in our camps. Ultrasound is also provided free of cost and during these free medical camps there were also ophthalmologists who conducted free tests of more than 200 eye patients and provided them with free medicines.
